Introduction

In order to place a hold in an OdiloLeisure library, patrons must first be logged in.

This feature comes in handy when all the copies of a desired item are already checked out by other users.

When you place a hold on an item, you are instantly added to a waiting list. This is automatically managed, and you will receive an e-mail once the item is available.

Placing a hold

After login, the steps to follow are:

1. Perform a search to find the desired book.
2. Click on the title of the book to access the item details page.
3. If the item is not available, click on Place a Hold.
4. As soon as the item is available, you will receive an e-mail with the instructions you should follow to borrow it.

Cancel a hold

Once the patron's logged in, these are the steps to follow:

1. Go to User's area > Holds.
2. Go to column Cancel Hold, and click on the bin icon in the right column.
