Q: What eContent formats are available for purchase in OdiloPlace?

A: Currently, OdiloPlace offers the following format types:

  • Adobe ePub (Download)
  • Adobe ePub (Streaming with Nubereader)
  • Adobe PDF (Download)
  • Audiobooks (Streaming)
  • Audiobooks (Download)

Q: I have forgotten my password. How can I reset it?

A: If you have forgotten your password click on I have forgotten my password on the login screen. Enter your user ID, and you will receive an e-mail with a new password.


Q: How can I get credentials to buy from OdiloPlace?

A: To buy from OdiloPlace you have to be an ODILO customer with a new or existing active account. If you did not receive your Buyer/Shopper credentials when you became a customer, you can request credentials by contacting your ODILO Account Manager. You will need to provide the name of your library or institution.


Q: How long does it take for titles purchased to become available in my end user catalog (OdiloTK)?

A: Titles purchased are delivered automatically to your end user catalog once the cart(s) is purchased at checkout.


Q: Where can I see all of my purchases?

A: Your Shopping History can be accessed by going to My Account>>Shopping History. From there you can select the date(s) to view and click on “Details” under the report column. You should go to “Shopping History”


Q: Can I cancel an order?

A: No. It is not possible to cancel an order. Please review all carts carefully before purchasing/checkout.


Q: Can I purchase a title with more than one license access type?

A: Yes, you can whenever the title is available with more than one license access type.


Q: What license access types are available?

A: There are three license access types currently available

  • One User One Copy Perpetual access: Permanent license.
  • One User One Copy Metered access: By number of checkouts/lends or by a set length of time.
  • Pay-per-Checkout: Pay-per-Use where you just pay as titles are checked out or loaned.
